We are seeking you with a high degree of business acumen with M&A execution experience from investment bank or from corporate M&A roles, who are about 10 years into your work experience. You have relevant academic background and are fluent in Swedish and English. As a person we expect you to have an ability to work on both big and small topics and the curiosity to assume and understand new businesses. You perceive yourself as a connector of people, highly effective and self-motivated, always ready to step in and take action when the situation calls for it.

The role
As a M&A director at Ernströmgruppen you will be one of two people working with M&A in collaboration with Ernströmgruppens support office. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of companies in different industries. Examples of work tasks includes:

• M&A project leader coordinating internal and external stake holders
• Perform valuation analysis, value creation plans and deal structuring
• Supporting the business areas with deal sourcing
• Create decision materials to investment committee or board of directors, incl other materials for use in transactions or strategic client dialogue
• Liaise and build relationship with external advisors

• M&A execution experience from investment bank or from corporate M&A roles

• Project management, e.g. ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinating, dealing with various deadlines, etc.

The position is full-time and is located at Ernströmgruppen's office in Gothenburg. You will report to Head of M&A.
